I'm in the process of getting a trans built for my 94 camaro, what stall would you suggest?and who's?

not my dd, lots of strip time, cam and heads in the future,mt ets ,and hopefully lots of broken rear ends

What cam are you running right now? How big of a cam are you planning in the future? If it's not your DD, then you can run a fairly large stall. A 3500-4000 would probably work well for you. I've heard lots of good things about the Yank convertors.

I have a 9.5" Yank SS 3600 in my daily driver/winter beater. I drive it 60+ miles a day(mostly stop and go) without issue. It's a fantastic converter that doesn't slip like crazy at light throttle openings, but will launch the car like you wouldn't believe. Once it locks up above 37mph you'd never even know it's there.

Your car is a nitrous car that will soon have an 847... My car is a nitrous/847/heads/intake car and I went with a Yank PYE 3600. On motor my car goes low 1.7 60's all day. I haven't sprayed the car with this converter yet, still working out somethings on the car first. I do drive the car on the street though and this converter is great on the street, I love it.

Call Dave, I think that's his name, at Yank. Let him help you out. I had a Vig. 2800 and now have a Yank SS3600 that cuts low 1.6xs NA and a best of 1.47on the bottle. Both are great converters. With my low shift points (6200 on nitrous) with the 26" tire and 3.73 gears, I'm maxed out at the finish line. Drop Fuddle of your list and add Circle-D. That's another quality converter from what I gather from the guys using it.
