What gears do I have?
 

I need to find out what ratio gears I have in my T/A. It is a 95 M6 and I assume they are 3:23's, but I don't know. Will my VIN # tell me? :confused:

M6's are 3.42's A4's are either 2.73's or 3.23's.

It tells you on your driver side door....... Look at the codes that start with a GU..... I got 2.73's, so my code was GU2.... I think 3.23's code is GU5...... If you have 2.73 then it's a 2 series carrier.... My 2.73's are getting dumped for 3.73's.........:thumb:

Hey man......... You from LEXINGTON........ You know of any exhaust shops in the Lexington area that would be able to fabricate a Y-PIPE for my longtube headers........ I really need to find a shop ASAP..........
