I want to change my gears to 3.42. Right now I have 2.73 with the 2 series carrier, so if would also need to buy the 3 series carrier for the 3.42. Should I buy the carrier and the gears or should i just buy a whole rear and replace my stock one? I have 17" rims on so if i got an LS1 rear the back brakes would be a little bigger as well wouldn't they? Let me know what you think. Thanks
