having a 355 built, my machine guy is really recomending me an aluminum flywheel,,what are some good ones? i searched and didn't really see any good ones vs bad ones. car is not a daily driver, have a spec stage 3 clutch. thanks

 

I've got a Spec Al flywheel. No complaints here.

do a search on it. the general concensice is dont get one if you drag race and get one if you aotu X. it has to do with angular momentum. that exrta weight obeing slung arround is what helps you get off the line. you have to have some weight moving when you dupm the clutch, and when you do all the angular momentum is transfered to the rearend which sets the car in motion.

and if he diagrees with that he needs to take a physics class. and no it dont help after car is moving.
