Trany mount

Ok guys i bought the engery suspension mount at advance auto parts for my transmission, And i just replaced the motor mount on the passanger side with a rubber one the old one was broken in two, now when i punch it it feels like the trany is going to come through the floorboard, Do i need to hack the trany mount down alittle and by the way i do not have the plate on the trany mount i did not put that on. how do i align the pinion angle up with the rearend

very common question....a search would have brought u some answers.

Anyways if u used the pre-load plate that came with the tranny mount, take it out and start from there. The plate throws the pinion angle off causing weird vibratiosn

I do not have the plate on i never used it
