Question tranny question

i have a 94 camaro 4l60e tranny that i am try n to sell.a guy with a 95 camaro called wants to buy it.then called back an said it wont work 95 is all by itself.is that true an if so whats the differance. thanks 4 ur input

The 95's have a PWM (pulse width modulation) solenoid for the converter lockup, which also includes changes to the PCM programming; 94's are not provisioned for this. The 96-97 units are also different than the 93-94 and 95, in that they use an on/off 3-2 downshift solenoid vs. the PWM type used in the earlier units.

A 95 trans in a 94 car will work, just not the other way around.
