tranny probs
 

my car shifts fine when your not hot rodding it... but when you like floor it, it will down shift like its supposed to then haul ass but when it gets to high rpms it wont shift... will hit the rev limiter.. any ideas?

Thats the same problem im having. It just started this not to long ago. Before it would shift great right at the right time. Going about 50 and hit 2nd gear and shoot you off. Now it just goes to far in red line and studders at the rev limiter.

You're not gonna like this, but the exact same thing happened to me when my transmission went out. It gets progressively worse until you need to be light on the gas just to leave a stoplight or it'll slip. Check the fluid first, but IMO you're in for a new trans.

Is you rear end stock ? If not could need tuning, just shooting at straws..in case you left it out of your mods.

If this is happening on the 2-3 WOT shift, then adding a Corvette servo would be the first thing, then a larger boost valve and then a modified TransGo Shift kit, or both. As long as the 2-3 shift under normal throttle openings is still ok, then this should fix it.
