tranny lines

I have a 96 z28 a4.. my tranny line is leaking very bad. here is the deal I need to see if it is loose or is it bad.. do i have to drop tranny to tighten top line? is there another way? where can i get a new one?

You dont have to drop the tranny.
It is a bit tight in there, but you can work your way up there and slip your hand in with a stubby box end wrench or a flare nut wrench.
It helps a bit to drop the tailshaft.
If the nut is just loose it should be an easy fix.
You need to get your car up on a lift or at least generous space underneath to get this done.
