tranny issue on 2001 z28

My transmisson has no mods it is stock. when it comes to shift from 1-2 it revs up the rpms a little then goes into gear.. what can can be wrong?:alert:

i mean from 2-3 it reves rpms a little then it shifts into gears.. any help?

Sounds like a "flare". Probably a result of the 3-4 clutches going out. What does the fluid look like? Is it black/brown? Does it smell burnt?
