Torsen or Auburn?

I was wondering which is considered better for road racing and general street driving. The Auburn that came as an option through SLP or the original Torsen T2? I assume the T2R is the best, correct? But is the Auburn an upgrade also?

Re: Torsen or Auburn?

Last month I installed a T2R in my regularly autocrossed '96.

The improvement over the factory Auburn is unbelievable. You'll never spin the inside tire again. It just won't do it.
