Torque Arm question?

I was planning on buying a Sphoon torque arm this winter but I am having second thougts. My car is mostly a daily driver, as long as the weather is nice. I have heard that the torque arm is very noisy(a.k.a. clunking noises?) Is this true? How many of you have daily drivers with torque arms that do not mount to the tranny?

Yes the Spohn torque arm clunks like crazy. I do not drive my car much but after a while it gets very annoying. I noticed the clunk especially when I put my car into 1st gear. Overall the design of the torque arm is awesome.

I had the jegs short torque arm because of my gearvendors. It transmitted a lot more rear end noise and vibration to the cabin. I cut and modded my stock torque arm and mount to work in my application.Expect an aftermarket arm to make more noise and transfer vibration all the time for it's traction benefit.

Wow I guess I am lucky I have the Spohn and it doesnt clunk at all or at least I have never heard it. Had it on the car for a year and some change. It helped me a lot on the strip too with the 60' that is. So where do you guys have the pinion angle set?
