Too cold for the 4L60E?

Tranny Temp Gauge (4L60E)

ok got it in...

took her out for like 25 minutes and got it shifting gears alot and it took forever to get to 150 then will not get hotter than 150 degrees? i have a B&M 24K tranny cooler (hooked to the stock cooler) and the fans are programed to come on at 180...is 150 too low? i mean it will maybe go to 155...maybe...but no hotter...im glad my tranny doesnt run hot but 150...is that too low?

think its giving accurate readings? I would think if anything it would read hotter b/c of the location of the sender (heatsoak..port on upper drivers side) its a good gauge/sender...Lunar 70$

whadayathink

too much cooling?

I agree, 150-170 is ideal.
