Tilton dual disk, Steel Twin, McLeod?
 

I'd like to put a Tilton into my LT1, they're light, strong, and cheaply rebuildable, however I cannot find any information on people doing this, and I'm sure it's not just a simple bolt in.

Also I've heard of the Steel twin, but cannot find any information on this unit. Is anyone currently using either of these setups? I'm looking to make about 800 crank HP on N2O, and I'd like a clutch that can handle it.

When I run a search, only a few barely helpful threads come up, usually only mentions of the units, no descriptions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Assuming you have a 4th gen (you mention "LT1"), the McLeod Street Twin is BY FAR the best clutch available for a hi-po setup. Expensive, but worth it.

The car itself will be a very light RX7, but the motor is a 94 LT1. I'm hoping to use a T-56 , as I want to roadrace the vehicle often and they frown on automatics on the track.

Street Twin with aluminum flywheel would be a good clutch choice. One problem you may have is the aluminum bell housing for the LT1/T56. It would not pass tech in a serious drag race setting. It has been a long time since I went road racing (Fomula Ford) and I have no idea what the technical regs are currently for a car like yours.
