Thanks!
good to hear even though i didn't help you. How long did it take you to do the job? Was it as hard as you thought or easier? I'm trying to decide if i wanna try to do the job myself or take it to a shop.
You know...the reason I took the car to the shop (they botched the job BTW that's why I had to redo it) is because everyone I asked about it kept telling me how hard it was to do...Setting up the Differential is very simple. The only hard things about it are getting the shim sizes right...other than that is's a straight forward job. I took the parts to a machine shop and had everything pressed on and off...don't bother trying to do it yourself...just take the Bearings and all to the Machine shop. As a cheap trick to set the Pinion gear right I took one of my old Bearings that came from the Pinion gear and bored it out so I could just slap it on and off...and plug ang play with it till I got the Pinion depth right. I also brought the Richmond gear installation video from summit. That helped out allot too. But overall I think changing the spark plugs was harder. all you need are a dial indicator and one of those micrometers with the dial on them and your set.
