TH350 conversion

i'm getting ready to do a TH350 conversion in my TA and was wanting to know which was the best way to deal with the torque arm? should i use the B&M convertion kit, the hurst conversion kit or should i go with the Mac torque arm that mounts to the floor body.

thanks
mike

Re: TH350 conversion

I used the B&M conversion. It works fine for me. I think the best way would be a torque arm that doesnt mount to the transmission though.

Re: TH350 conversion

my transmission shop found an adapter that lets you keep the stock tailhousing of the 4l60 with the 350, resulting in a perfectly functioning speedo and tq. arm mount. stock trans mount/cross member can also be reused.. guy wont tell me where he got it, because the source sells them alot cheaper than what he charged me for it.

Re: TH350 conversion

the only reason i asked is because i have a friend that says he has seen pics and/or heard storys about how people have broken the back of the tranny do to the fact the torque arm is mounted to it. i would like to know the name of the tranny shop that got the kit for u eric and the price.
