no, cars not leaking any fluid, but I was going to take off the right rear tire(another story ), but with the car in neutral turned the righte rear tire and the brake was rubbing on the rotor . Is that normal?

ok, I drove my car today into work and the problem still exists. It was rainy outside, so I normally spin the shifts easily, only thing is the right side just checked up againg and I got the god awful clunk under the right rear. It feels almost like the axle is turning, but the wheel just isnt. I bought a warranty when I bought the car 1 1/2 ago, which covers the drivetrain, so I think Im going to have to take it to the shop, while its still covered. . Let me know if you have any other ideas though.

Problem solved!! For evryone who said Tranny mount, you were right. I checked it by just looking at it and it looked fine, but when I lifted the tranny up a little it was broke. I just replaced it with a 1LE mount less than 1000 miles ago, so I guess I'll go with a poly mount this time. Thanks for all the help guys!!! and Im glad it wasn't anything serious!!

You obviously didnt read my last post in this thread. Mine turned out to be my trans. mount which I had just replaced about 1500 miles ago. I put a poly mount on this time and I hate it. My car feels so rough(vibration, noise inside the car) and sounds like its going to fall apart now, so I took the broken mount back to Autozone(lifetime warranty on it) and got another rubber mount that im gount to put on today.

i got a good story on broken c-clips.. i have an 88 monte carlo that was my nice car before i got the Z, and it was still a very nice car till this winter, it has a healthy 355... ect, anyways i was driving home this last march, and my camaro was at school getting a roll cage put in it. well anyways i was on my way home and the car stated to vibrate really bad then i felt the rear end start to sway left and right violently then all the sudden i felt the rear drop. when i looked into my mirror all i saw was sparks! then i looked to my left and the axle and tire were racing me down the road, and it won... all i runined was the axle seal and the c-clip. the funny thing is this happened 6 miles from my house, and my trip was 200! they say thing happen close to home. thats my story...
