TA Diff Cover
Well i got my new TA cover today for my rear end. opened the box and saw what an amazing piece it is.
what exactly is the optional bolt kit? is it something i should look into using? I cant wait to get this cover on, i gotta fix my pinion seal while im at it too. ive got oil all up under my car from the driveshaft flinging it everywhere. I dont know how much fluid is even in my rear anymore. $153.00 shipped, money well spent. ps. is there anything else i should do while i have the rear cover off? replace anything inside that tends to wear out? I'm going to stick with the 3.42's for the time being. i have a trip to GA comming up and want to get the best mpg as possible. after that i may move up to 4.10's also, should i use the gasket that came with the cover, or high temp silicone? i have both. |

Hey your ring and pinion are still in one piece........Lucky.
Cover looks good. |
its a good idea to swap to a stud kit for those bearing caps...much stronger than the bolts...and only about $20
