T56 woes. Need help!

Alright i got one for you guys. I went yesterday to follow a buddy of mine to a shop to get some tires replaced. As i pulled into the parking lot i put the car in neutral, coasted to a stop and proceeded to shift into reverse. As i pushed in the clutch and went to move the shifter to reverse it all of a sudden got stiff and wouldn't shift. Now after pushing the car into the shade we investigated further and realized i could push it relatively easy into reverse and back up. I could pull it straight back into neutral as well. So, the car operates fine in reverse and can be placed into neutral, but its like i can't move it into the forward gears. Its like its stuck in the reverse L pattern of going into reverse. And even against better judgment, kicking the hell out of the shifter won't move it either.

So i'm hoping that maybe something on the bottom of the shifter itself has broken or come loose. I won't be able to get the car home until monday, but i'm planning on pulling the shifter out and seeing whats up. I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this or not. It also has a B&M short throw if that helps anything.

Thanks Chris

Well went to pick the car up today and magically it works now. Drove it home and everything. But i've decided its coming out soon to be rebuilt. Got my beater civic running so the camaro will probably be going under the knife.
