t56 same or different
 

Is this the same t56 that all the ford guys want to run in there stangs. Where talking a tremec t-56. 03-04 cobras have them stock. Like my camaro is a 95 z w/ 6 spd. Are these transmissions the same???????

i think the internals are about the same.i know they have a different input shaft but not for sure what else.

The guts or the main housing should be the same, but the Stang would have an absence of the TQ Arm on the EXT housing. Maybe different bell housings, and/or Extension housing. Come to think of it, maybe a different spline or length input shaft.
