T/A/ Performance Cover - Question about magnet
T/A/ Performance Cover - Question about magnet
So I just got one of the Aluminum T/A Performance Rear End covers and I noticed that there is no magnet. Can anyone on the board tel me what they've done about this?
I've thought about gluing a magnet to the inside of the cover, but images of the magnet coming loose and rattling around in my rear discourage that idea.
Are there any suggestions? Is it OK to not use a magnet at all, if I change the fluid frequently?

Re: T/A/ Performance Cover - Question about magnet
I had the same type cover, only the Summit version and it had a magnetized drain plug. If it doesn't, you can probably buy one. It would provide the same function...

Re: T/A/ Performance Cover - Question about magnet
I just epoxied one in my T/A cover. After 5000 miles, its still in there and not bouncing around. I went for it, but we have some great epoxy crap at the dealership I work at. So, it can be done my friend!
