can a sall go bad and make a clanging noise?

 

could be loose bolts(flexplate to convertor)

or a crack in the flexplate

 

bolts are tight and i looked at the flywheel the best i could and didnt see any cracks bu he car keeps stalling out. some say stall and some say botom end bearings. oil pressure is good and i revs smooth but dies if it doesnt get gas

 

does the car only ratttle when ideling real low,

that could be an iac motor(not the rattle the low idle)

 

no it rattles(clanging) the whole time. it wont idle now it stalls out as soon as you take your foot off of the gas

 

doesnt sound good man, does it sound like its coming from the bellhousing laying under the car

although i personally never heard a converter make noise like that i am sure its possible

 

i did lay under the car but cant tell which its cumming from between all the other noise from l/t's cam and gmmg exhaust
