Stall???

My friend has a tci 3500 stall that was used in a turbo 350 trans. With this work for the 96z28?? he said that it was actually let in at 3000 rpm. Would that be to much for a daily driver with 3.73's? how bad will my gas mileage be? I am guessing that i will never find traction with a street tire? Do you think this combo will hook at the track? Also would i have to get a tune to run this on my car? THANKS!!!!

Re: Stall???

It might be a decent converter if you had a 350, 400 or a turbo spline glide but it sure won't fit your car in stock form. Check the sale forum or rob a bank and get a vigalante or a yank converter.

Re: Stall???

No way it will work. A 3000-2500 can drive fine for a daily driver or can suck depending on how well put together it is. I had a 2600 Level 10 and it was crap, now have a 2800 Edgeracingconverters.com and could not be happier with the performance be it towing, racing or the 25K mile a year daily driveing. Using a quality manufactuer is key I would not recommend TCI, you will get a better converter with Edge Yank or Vig.
