spohn torque arm which to get
which torque arm (rod ended or poly bushing)should I get for street driving and some track time ( 10 times a year) Noise isn't really an issue .
|
a solid rod end will make noise every time it shifts gears
but it will be stiffer and handle better and it isnt as loud as people think i wouldnt use rubber there because the rod end it only a little more and who knows what that bushing costs to replace it (i am asuming you are talking about a spohn product) you will be happy with a solid rod end so go ahead and get it |
Poly, no question in my mind.

I have the poly and love it! Very quiet except over bad bumps. Added stiffness to an already stiff suspension. My car is a daily driver w/ infrequent track visits planned for spring. If you do a search you will find alot of comments about the noise factor w/ the rod end as opposed to the poly mount. Good luck!

I have the spohn adjustable torque arm with the poly bushing and integrated driveshaft loop. It is very, very solid, indestructable. It does hit the top of the driveshaft tunnel on some bumps. I am going to have to clearance the tunnel in order for it not to hit. The build quality is excellent. :p
