Spec Stage 3 clutch..way cool.

Hey just got my spec stage 3 clutch installed. And it is crazy hard to get used to, but fun to drive. Anybody else like theres? I think it is a great clutch.

I have the Spec IV. I like it. It's probably a little bit more aggressive than yours, but after a while, it'll get more manageable. It really is streetable. I'm glad I've got it. I did a little search before I bought it, and almost went with the Stage III. Contrary to what I've heard and what people said, Stage IV can be used on our cars with no problems. I've even heard that it would be too much for my car. Baloney! Of course, a lot of this depends on your mods. Stage IV -like I said- would work on our cars just fine, but may be an overkill for a bolt-ons only car.

Either way, I'm sure the Stage III is nice too. Can't go wrong. I'm glad you like it.

Hope it holds.

I smoked my stage 4, but id imagine stage 4s hold up to most people. Hope the 3 holds for ya, same 680tq rating but ive heard more people having problems with the 3 than the 4.

My stage IV has gotten some abuse this year at the track. So far, so good.

I have noticed quiet a bit of chatter from the clutch, the chevy dealer told me to take it back if it kept up, and they would fix it. So I dunno.

Re: Spec Stage 3 clutch..way cool.

Well I'm thinking there is something wrong with my stage 3, whenever I pull away from a stop sign, it sounds like something is vibrating, like the pad is skipping on the fly wheel really fast. I'm kinda scared its going to go out on me, cause its being a ho, its getting harder and harder to make smooth shifts unlike before. If anyone has any suggestions. Maybe something that could be wrong?
