Spec 3+ grinding...

Just wanted to make a fresh thread for those who may have experienced this problem. On a whim I searched and found at least the Spec Stage 3+ has a problem where the shift fork comes into contact with the pressure plate when the clutch is depressed almost to the floor.
I thought it was the pilot bushing, but to my relief it was a real easy fix.
I just ground about a 1/4" deep by 1/2" long groves in the fork and it worked like a charm. There's a nice polished ring around the pressure plate now. Looks real snazzy.
Thanks Spec!

Here's some key words for those who search:

grind, clutch peddle to floor, spec 3+ pressure plate, noise

yadda yadda yadda
