Slipping in Automatic question

There is no doubt in my mind that something in my drivetrain is slipping BADLY, either the torque converter or the tranny. Is there any way to tell like a test whether it is the tranny or torque converter that has the problem? For those TH400 experts, if it is the tranny, should suspect anything besides the clutch packs to cause slipping? The tranny is a TH400 to let you know and the converter is a B&M 2400 Nitrous Holeshot.

Sorry to hear about your problem. Is that the reason you are selling your TH400. If so I think you should notify people in the for sale section that the tranny maybe slipping.

****please do not take the above as an insult. When I was thinking about trading transmissions with you I thought your TH400 was a good shape.

i dont at all, in fact ive decided to stick with it and maybe pick up a gear vendors since i began to look in depth into t56's and all the destroyed output shafts and the money it would take to upgrade to a viper one so im sticking with my tried and true 400 which is pretty much the strongest setup.

i even removed the post for sale
