Six Speeds Inc Transmission question

Hello,

Sorry for the mini rant, but does anyone live in Houston that can go and see if they are still in business? I ordered a built T56 in March which I STILL have not received. Both their 888 and toll number has a recording that the call cannot be completed at this time, AND their web site has a holding page that says 'under construction'

I waited months for them to get an LT1 core, then someone (Amber, I think) had a baby that got me more delay, THEN the hurricane damaged something, but now I can't even get ahold of them anymore.

Anyone with an alternate contact number for them would be appreciated too.

I just want my transmission.

David, trying not to get too testy......

I am experiencing similar problems with them. I canceled my order a month ago, and they never refunded the $500 deposit.

97SS0594: do you have the phone number your dad called to get in touch with them? Their old number ((713) 937-4411) seems to be disconnected.

I sent them my T56 in March for a rebuild, and had it back within two weeks (running great, by the way!). I spoke to Amber on the phone at the time, and she said that she had accidentally taken down the web site and that she didn't know when it would be back up.

She posts on LS1tech. You might be able to get a hold of her over there. I'm not sure what her username is, but you should be able to search.

Found her!

Thanks for the LS1Tech lead. I got a different phone number and I will call her tomorrow to see about my transmission.
