Shifter moves up and down
 

I cant figure out why my shifter moves up and down when Im taking off from 1st to 2nd under normal driving. :confused: It just started doing this within the past few days and is really annoying.
I replaced the tranny mount and I took the shifter out to make sure the bushing wasnt broke. Im still having the problem after I did these two.
Any suggestions would be great.

Sounds to me like you have a broken motor mount. Check the drivers side.

well, no luck yet, I still havent been able to pin point the problem. I checked both motor mounts and both are okay. Anyone else that may have a clue, your suggestions would be much appreciated.

You replaced the trans mount already? Thats usually the culprit of this problem, I had one that was torn in 2 and smacking the floor on hard accel. Check it again anyways, not to sound sarcastic or anything, maybe you lost your nut (lol)
