Rubbing/Whining noise

When I turn my car left or right I can hear a rubbing/whining noise coming from the rear of the car. I have checked the tires for any strange wear and they look fine. Is it my rearend making the noise? The noise is always there when i make a turn but the harder/faster I turn the louder the noise.

The car is a 94 Z28. All stock.

I have the same problem, It's supposed to be the left rear caliper rubbing against the rotor due to a small misalignment. There is a shim that one can use to adjust the caliper as mounted to the axle housing to fix the problem.. Still have to do it myself
