Rear End Swap Question

If I got a Non TCS 10 bolt from a 6-speed 99 SS with 3.42's and swapped it for my TCS 2.73 rear end, what all would I have to do after bolting it up? Anything that would make it complicated? I know I would have to get the speedo recalibrated, but I am getting that taken care of with edit anyway. I originally wanted to do 3.73's, but that would cost a LOT more. Would the non tcs rear (3 channel) become a tcs rear (4 channel) if I swapped my axles and backing plates?

Thanks for any help.

I don't think so. I thought TCS rear had wheel sensors and stuff actually in the axle tubes (bung style)? Regardless, I don't think you can retain TCS without the 4 channel rear.

I'm a 3rd gen guy though, your ABS and TCS are all new high tech gizmos to me
