rear end axle problem

ive got a rear end that i bought had a bent axle, so i had them completely rebuild it and put it back together with another axle i had, the axle i had was a lt1 axle, well ive been having problems with the brake pads falling out ect on one side so i got new pads and rotors put them on and the caliper bracket and bolts that hold the caliper were rubbing the inside of the rotor...so i look at both sides and one axle the lt1 axle is about 1/8 of an inch shorter than the other side. so i got another lt1 axle pulled it apart and they are the same leingth, so i found a ls1 axle, (since the side im not having problems appears it used to have the abs 4 channel abs ring on the end of it) and the ls1 axle is the same leingth also
i found the old bent axle and sure enough its about 1/8 of an inch longer...

wtf is the deal here? is there something else im missing? is there any other option for a bone stock 10 bolt?
