RE: HELP, Strip bolts on stock converter

Will I mess the transmission up if I move it back a half inch to get the torque converter bolts out with grip pliers because bolts are stripped?? I'm in the process of installing a new tci converter!

Im not understanding, first how you stripped them, and secondly how are you going to move the trans back if the converter is still attached?
