Problems getting clutch in....
Do I need to do exactly what the Haynes manual says, or is there a simpler way? It's talking about disconnecting clutch master cylinder hydraulic lines and stuff, and its not very specific as to where stuff like that is. For instance, the manula says that the line to the master cylinder is under the brake booster. IT shows an illustration, but the illustration looks nothing like my car.
Anyway, I figure all I gotta do is get the release bearing out of the way, along with the torsion arm, converter hanger, etc. and that's it. This thing seems like its going way too in depth. Any advice?

- Disconnect all connectors that go to tranny
- Unbolt slave cylinder
- Slide clutch fork out
- Disconnect driveshaft/torque arm/tranny mount/crossmember
- Support tranny (w/tranny jack preferably)
- Remove shifter
- Unbolt tranny (two on top are tough) Make sure you have a foot-and-a-half or so of extensions
- Slide tranny out (again, make sure clutch fork is 'released')
- Unbolt clutch/flywheel
- Pull pilot bearing out (w/pilot bearing puller)
Repeat all these steps in reverse to complete the job. That's it in a nutshell.
