As the title says I am hitting the rev limiter at the top of second gear. It bounces off of it and then shifts into drive. I had a 2800 satll in it and now have jumped up to a 3800 stall. I have never had these problem before. I just had the converter installed yesterday. It doesn't seem to do it first to second shifts, just second to drive. The first time it didn't feel like it wanted to shift.

Has anyone heard of this happening before and what is the fix?

I bet the PCM is thinking the tranny is slipping. I think you have to get the PCM tuned for a stall that high. But I could be wrong. Do a little searching, you should find some more info on this.
