Need help identifying 2 parts, seals.....
 

My brother in law had my car up in the air at the shop he works at because we were doing the shock/struts and brake pads and rotors on my car. He said that i should replace the seals on either end of the drive shaft. I am not exactly sure what those parts are called. I think one is the differential pinon seal but i am not sure of the other. I want to make sure i order the right parts. He said there was fluid coming from both, not a leak you can see dripping, but there is fluid escaping in small amounts. Any help is appreciated.

differential pinion seal and transmission tail seal. Too bad you're not close. I have a box of tail seals. All my gasket sets come with them, but 4X4 units don't use them.

Hey, thank you for the info and for lookin out! i know what to get now. Going to replace those and change out the transmission fluid.

Use a small bead of "Ultra Copper" silicone around the outside of the seals.
