M6 conversion wiring problems!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

OK. Caar has been down for a week, doing this swap slowly. Got everything bolted up and now just need help wiring the clutch safety switch. Going by the conversion website, it says you wire the yellow and brown wires to the CSS. My problem is that there are 2 seperate orange and black wires that plugged into the shifter and one brown and green. Then there is a bigger connector with about six wires in it. PLEASE HELP ME!!?? This is my daily driver and I need it for work!!

Sorry I can't help with the conversion but where is that website? I want to convert my car as well. My auto tranny is about to go out in the next few thousand miles. Where did you get all the parts? Thanks!

On my 94 the two wires for the clutch switch are on the large connector with six wires. The two large wires were for the switch. Connect them together and see if your starter works. If you only have one large wire try the large one and the one next to it on the connector. The other wires on the connector are for reverse lights and hatch release. The reverse light wires need to be run to the reverse light switch on the side of the trans and the hatch release wire need to be connected together if you want the hatch release to work.

Re: M6 conversion wiring problems!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Got it last nite!! Now just gotta get the slave cylinder bled. During installation, I let the clutch master cylinder disconnect from the slave cylinder on the firewall. Ive bled this thing about 25 ot 30 times and it wont let it engage into 3rd gear or 5th gear. 1st is good, 2cd gear scrubs, and it wont go into 3rd or 5th. 4th and 6th is fine. I can cut the car off and restart it in 3rd or 5th and it pulls and the gears dont make any funny noises or anything. I also rode in the donar car and it had no problems at all. The guy I bought the changeover from said if you let air get into an LS1 hydraulics then you might as well trash it and buy a new one. Has anyone had any luck bleeding one of these??

Now you are scaring me! I'm also swapping the A4 with an used manual...
Only thing I still don't know is if it's necessary to remove the starter to unbolt the converter. For this I'll have to remove the catalyst: something I'd really avoid to do.

I believe you can remove the converter without removing the starter, but it would make things much easier with it out of the way.

I had to remove mine, then got an 8mm allen head socket for a 3/8 drive ratchet...was a breeze then!! Dont try it with just a big allen wrench, you could strip out ya bolts!
