leaking rearend

last couple of days i noticed penny sized drips on the driveway from my rearend. i had the pinion seal replaced a couple months ago while it was in warranty. i looked under it and the pumpkin looks fairly wet on the bottom from the rear. so if the pinion seal goes would it run straight dowm the rear? or could i be leaking from the cover? my first guess was the cover but i havent really got a chance to get under and really take a look and i am no expert on those kind of rearends . whatever its from abuse is out of the question its driven 4 times a week and like im going through a school zone. any ideas

From what you described, yes it is just the cover that's leaking. I would definitely replace the cover gasket (i also like to use sealant along with the gasket). While you have the cover off check and make sure nothing looks too worn and there aren't too many metal shavings inside.
