Just replaced fuel pump, changed tranny fluid, oil change, tune up, 2 new tires. driving normally, felt my car jolt and lost overdrive. scared that the rest of my tranny might fall out. any ideas? if i try shifting into overdrive, it shifts but loses power and doesn't shift into overdrive. same rpm as reg. drive?

 

Overdrive is a weak gear in an a4. Its very small. Sounds like its a gonner. Dont know much about auto trannys but might as well keep driving it since its going to need to be opened anyways and I cant see much more harm being done. I would just leave in in "3" or regular "D" so it doesnt keep tying to go into od.
