how to replace shifter cable

my shifter cable broke so i need to know how to replace it. Im sure its pretty straight forward but it i cant really tell how to get to the console end of it. I dont want to start tearing stuff apart until i know exactly what im doing.

If you cannot see where the cable comes through, you are probably going to have to remove the console (or at least lift it up).

I figured it out. I looked difficult but once the new cable came in it was obvious. Thanks for the reply
