How to remove clutch line

I've got a hole in the hydraulic line that goes from the master cylender to the slave cylender. Is there any special trick to removing the line? It doesn't seem like it wants to un-screw.

It is held in place with a roll pin. Use a drift punch or appropriate size nail ground off flat to make a cylinder and drive it out of one side or the other. Then it just comes apart. I've done it. It's easy.

Re: How to remove clutch line

That is a sealed unit from the factory, it comes pre bled. I went thru 3 of them trying to rebleed on without destroying it. The above post is correct, but you will get air in the lines, and I guarantee you will have problems. I finally broke down and just paid the 112.00 for the new one and put it one. If you get lucky enough for it to work, please let me know. But I always had the problem of losing pedal pressure after a few days.

Re: How to remove clutch line

I took mine off in order to flush out the fluid like I do with all hydraulics every 2 years. When I put it back on I used the factory bleed procedure (pump slave rod up and down while holding rod straight down) and had no problems. I'v seen a number of posts on this over the years, I'm surprised you had so much trouble.
