Help diagnose
 

I have a ls1 and it has a ticking noise comming from the rear more towards the right. It only happens on deceleration and when coasting in nutral the noise will be a little louder. I had a friend try and listen to it n he said maybe the spyder gears. I'm no mechanic so im just looking for a few suggestions on what it may be so i can get my probelm solved before i have to take it to a shop to get it looked at.
