Had a little accident, not sure if I can fix or not

Well, I took a turn a little fast and lost it last night and bounced off the curb, totally shattered two of my chrome SS rims, and the driver rear axle is definitely toast, bent real bad. I'm pretty sure I can fix the axle(how much do they run, part #?) what else do you guys think broke or might need to be replaced as well as the axle? This would be the first time i had to work on fixing an accident. I really hope its not that bad. The damn rims though are gonna be expensive

you can buy a used rear end for about 150 if you look around at all the boards i'm sure you can find one. if your an auto this would be a good time to have a manual rear end put in so you can have 3.42's.

as far as the rest, might wanna take it ot a repair shop

You probably only need what you can see. The rear axle and new wheels. When I first got my car I lost it when i gave to much gas on the turn and the car fishtailed into a 360 and I went flying over a huge median. I put some serious curb rash on my 2 stock wheels, but that was it. No axles or nothing. Got it checked out everything was fine besides how horrible my wheels looked. I got em replaced though, no biggie. You should take it to get checked out but im guessing all you need is the wheels. An axle you can find cheap on the boards its just a matter of avoiding getting raped on shipping.

Good luck man!

Go for a complete rear axle, you may well have bruised the diff bearings from the impact. Get an alignment check, there's a possibility of deforming the panhard bar or its mounting (done that ) or the front upright or track arm.

my panhard rod and lca look like U's, thats how bent they are. I spun the rotor around and i didn't hear or feel anything, that is a good sign of a ol axle right? well i need two new SS chrome 10 spokes, wheres the cheapest I can get these fast? I ordered new panhard rod and lca's too, hopefully thats it, otherwise i don't know.

If you hit hard enough to pretzel the panhard bar and track bar the car should be checked for straightness. New rear end, new pan and track....time to upgrade to a 12 bolt...
