Grinding noise from shifter after new clutch install!

Hey guys, I just got a new clutch (Borg Warner) installed in my '94 Z and now it has a grinding noise in both 3rd and 4th gear coming from the shifter area. It only happens when the RPM's are around 1.5 and I accelerate on the faster side. However, if I accelerate gently and slowly, the grinding in 3rd and 4th gear does not happen. BTW, I do have a Pro 5.0 short shifter in there and that has been in there for the past 2 yrs and made/makes the usual noise that accompanies a short shifter. But the grinding in 3rd and 4th from the shifter is a lot louder now after the new clutch install. Any ideas as to what might be causing this? Might the grinding stop after the clutch is broken in? Any input or help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

~~Wes

Your clutch probably isnt disengaging all the, thats why that happens. You might want to try bleeding the hydraulics...

To bleed the the hydraulics take off the cap on the reservoir, remove the plastic diaphram thing, and take off the slave cylinder... take the rod on the slave cylinder and push in and out, it gets pretty hard after a while...i'd do it about 10 or 15 times. Have somebody stand by the reservoir and look for air bubles coming out of it...
