Got my vig 3200 in today

I was wanting to install it asap, but I am wanting to install a transgo kit and a B&M trans cooler. What I was wondering is should I just wait or can I go ahead and install it. I was wanting to take it to the track maybe next weekend, but I know I won't be able to get the shift kit or cooler for a month or so. Would it hurt it to drive it a little and race it some without the cooler and shift kit or not. The temps here are in the 60's during the day so the heat wouldn't be too much of a problem. I have a good idea about what I should do just wanted to know what you guys thought.

TIA

Exactly what he said. Don't even think about running it with a stall and without a cooler. Their only around $50-60 bucks so you should be able to get one sometime soon. Shift kit isn't vital but I would highly recommend that at a very near time that the stall is going in. They also help against heat and will firm your soon to be very "slushy" shifts back up. Heat is the #1 killer of our tranny's. Avoid it at all costs.

Definately going to the track. That's why I got it. I will post times after install.

I have some hoosier qtp's so I'm hoping to see some really good gains from the converter and tires.
