DTC 82 transmission code can't remove it
 

I'm working on a94 camaro basically. All the running gear is in a rat rod. Lt1 and 4L60 E transmission. Runs fine but we get a DTC 82 trouble code. Some history here. It has aftermarket wiring harness this is second rebuilt transmission from autozone. First one worked for about 100 miles and pump went out. This a second transmission. It seems to shift ok but it trips dtc 82 trouble code. And if I try to reset codes it comes back. I know it's the 1/2 shift solenoid. But that is all. The only other thing I noticed was when I tried to reset trouble code I could hear a change in sound of transmission. It's subtle. My buddy can't hear the difference but I can. But when the code resets the sound changes back to previous. I can turn key on rest code and it will stay off. But as soon as you start it the code come back on. We've been trying to get tech help but they still haven't called back so I'm coming to you for some knowledge. All help would be appreciated.

Does the year of the 4L60E match the year of the PCM, and the program in the PCM?

You can’t mix-and-match, due to differences in PCM control strategy, and internal trans component differences.

4L60E year differences and interchanges..

Well we have a rebuilt computer from auto zone for the car. Solved many issues we were having. Same with thevauto trans is from autonzone for this make and model. Don't have a factory manual. I wish we did. And I wasn't aware of year specific matching of tranny however they had year and cars serial number so the they should have gotten it right. But not sure where to go. According to the stuff I read maybe the wrong 1/2 shift solenoid for computer? That's why we're are trying to get trans builder to help trouble shoot. They are real slow in respond in.
