Drivetrain making noises

I recently had my rear end swapped out with a Moser 12 bolt w/ eaton posi 33 spline and 3:73 gears. Everything seems fine as far as how the car runs but I'm concerned about a few odd noises I've been hearing ever since I had the rear end installed. The first noise is a clunking metal kind of sound. it usually happens when i first tap on the gas. It's just one clunk and thats it. its not like its constantly doing it while i drive. the second noise is a whining noise when im cruising at high speeds on the highway. im thinking that its the new gearing i have but if so is that a normal sound to hear or does that mean my gearing was not installed correctly. If anyone has experienced any of these sounds with the same setup i have please help me out. thanks
