Don't have one yet but I'm working on a TH400 install. www.spohn.net has steel driveshafts for our cars, 325$

My favorite sources are http://www.dynotechengineering.com/ and http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/. Both make an excellent product. Dynotech gives a very short turnaround, so lately I've been using them.

If you need a TH400 you will need a shaft in this price range.

All the driveshafts mentioned are going to be pricey. Another good source would be Mark Williams. If you want to play you are going to have to pay.

Let me know if you find one because I am also going to need a driveshaft when I do my TH400 conversion.

I have the Mark Williams 3" chrome moly, but if you think Spohn is expensive, you won't be interested in the MW.

Is the spohn CM steel? I figure I would spend around 350-400. If the other three brands are better than the Spohn then I would have no problem spending the extra 60 bucks on a better unit. I just like the spohn b/c they seemed to be pre mesured, so I wouldnt have to install it and wait a week for a drive shaft to be built. I could have it sitting there. Im sure that a TH-400 with a 4" tailshaft to a stock 10bolt or 12bolt are pretty much all the same give or take 1 inch. Or am I wrong?

I believe the Spohn driveshaft is made out of chromoly. I currently have a Spohn driveshaft on my car and have put over 700 rwhp without a problem. Both Mark Williams and Denny's make great driveshafts but are also a little more expensive. My suggestion would be if you car is not an all out high hp race car than I believe that the Spohn driveshaft is the best option.
