Drill Out Mod on a Spec Clutch

Hey yall, i just ordered a Spec Stage 2 clutch and i saw someone that is sellin an LS1 WS6 mention that he had a Spec Stage 2 w/ drill out mod. Can anyone tell me what that is and what it does. Thanks.

From what I've gathered, it removes a restriction in the clutch hyrdaulic line, and allows more flow. Also, AFAIK, its for LS1s only. LT1s don't need to worry about it.

Thanks, for the reply, but help me understand a bit more about it, cause this is something ive never even heard of before. How exactly is it performed and what benifits does it do. Thanks.

there is a little ristriction about 1" in the hydrolic line on the master cylinder side (I think it's on that side) You take a drill bit and drill it out, flush with fluid to make sure there is no metal shavings left
