Difference between Ford and Chevy TKO600

I recently picked up practically brand new Tremec TKO600. It came with an aluminum bellhousing, a billit steel SFI flywheel, and a 26 spline dual fricton SFI clutch (looks like a McLeod), all for a Chevy

The Tremec part number is a TCET5009.

Summit racing shows the TCET5009 as a Chevy TKO600, the ford TKO600 is a TCET5008.

Ford: TCET5008

Chevy: TCET5009

Does anyone know what the acctual differences between the two are.

Can the chevy based trans be used in a ford with the correct bellhousing.

I know that the ford based 3550 and TKO have been used in chevy conversions in the past, and am assuming that this may be able to be used in a ford application.

I want to KNOW, isnstead of assuming!

Looks like the input shaft and bearing retainer are the only difference!

Did some more digging.
The case has a different mounting pattern and the output shaft has a different part number.

It looks like it is a chevy only trans.
