Difference between 98 Z28 4L60e and 00 Corvette 4L60e

Hey, been awhile since i've been on here, haven't had my license for the past 6 months and the Camaro's 45k mile rebuilt transmission lost third and fourth gear, due to a crappy repair shop, that's a whole nother story though. Well I just got my license back and I just bought a used 00 vette transmission out of a salvage title vette that got hit from the side with 80k on it for $425. As I don't have all the money to sink another transmission repair which has been quoted from 800-1200 if they can patch the other shops work up. But most likely was gonna run me $1,700. I was wondering if there will be any internal differences to the transmission, as I was told they had better shift servos and what not, but I wasn't sure if that was just a bunch of jibber jabber. I'm pretty sure the bell housings the same also since the motors the same. Thanks though i'm also wondering if id be able to just swap the tailhousing off of my exisiting transmission as this one just has the shaft sticking out there? Looks like I could but I haven't dropped it and pulled the other one yet. I hope this will work as I already bought it.
